Noreen Powell started her art career in Buffalo, New York. In 2002 she moved to the Albany area and began teaching art full time. She eventually attended SUNY Albany and obtained her Masters in Education with a concentration in Art, receiving her New York State Teaching Certification.
Long walks and prayer are part of Noreen's creative process. The combination of nature and God's word are inspiration for her paintings and teaching.

Hudson Valley Consortium’s mission is to help families continue home schooling through high school by providing joyful, social, and academically rich experiences for Christian students in grades 5-12.
